The Private Equity team dedicates to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Its key purpose is to promote equity investments aimed at boosting not only target companies but also the real economy, and creating value in the long-term.

We are mainly focused on situations where generational handovers are involved or where strengthening of the shareholding structure is needed. Our private equity team collaborates with managers and entrepreneurs of the target to foster company's expansion through both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.

Investments are mainly focused on transactions requiring expansion capital, replacement capital, management buy-in and management buy-out.

Significant effort is dedicated to European Long Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs), conceived by the European regulator as suitable investments to allow retail investors to diversify their savings by accessing interesting, illiquid investment opportunities.

EQUITA Smart Capital – ELTIF is a private equity and alternative PIR fund investing in Italian small and medium enterprises. The fund was launched in 2021 and is managed by EQUITA Capital SGR, management company of the EQUITA group.
