EQUITA Capital SGR also offers its expertise to manage liquid assets on behalf of financial institutions, banking groups and family offices. The team is focused on discretionary equity portfolios, flexible funds and advisory.
Our investment philosophy combines analysis of macro trends with a deep understanding of company’s fundamentals, with the aim of building portfolios with strong active picks, even if different from the consensus view, and particular focus on the valuation under “unfavourable scenarios”.

Discretionary Portfolios
The team has been managing discretionary equity portfolios on behalf of Credem Group since 2003.
Currently, the team focuses on four discretionary mandates:
- Italy Top Selection
- Top Selection Mid Small
- Top Selection Opportunity
- Europe High Dividend Top Selection
The first two have an equity benchmark, the third a balanced one, and the fourth an equity-oriented benchmark. The difference compared to benchmark-driven mutual funds is that these mandates have highly concentrated portfolios, with strong active bets on single stocks and sectors.
