Beat Group is a project aimed at creating a leading German distribution platform for music (digital) and books (physical). The project began in December 2023 with the acquisitions of DAD and Nova MD, two separate entities both based in Vachendorf, near Munich, founded by the same owner.

Specifically,

DAD, founded in 2005, is active in the digital distribution of music and audiobooks through its proprietary IT platform "Feiyr." DAD connects over 440,000 artists to more than 300 major streaming platforms, including the most globally relevant ones such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music (all together "Digital Service Providers" or "DSP");

Nova MD, founded in 1999 and fully acquired by DAD in 2016, operates in the book market for publishers, authors, and self-publishers.

ESG in action: Beat Group has begun monitoring a comprehensive set of ESG KPIs to integrate ESG aspects into its business strategy.

Particular attention will be given to governance issues and the monitoring of the environmental impact of its activities.
